The Gas Blowout Prevention Cover comes in different types, depending on its intended location.

TNB-1 is suitable for use after directly drilling into cast iron pipes, transitioning from a plugged state to attaching or replacing a transition fitting.

SNB-1 is designed for the gas back hole in cast iron pipes.

TNB-2 is applicable for plugging or attaching transition joints after drilling into cast iron or steel pipes using reinforcement joints.

SNB-2 can be utilized after perforating cast iron or steel pipes using a reinforcing joint, either for plug stopping or for attaching standard joints.

SNB-3 is suitable for lead jointing or attaching and detaching a drill.

Applicable range: Low gas pressure pipes (2.5kPa)
Caution: Avoid using with clothing.
How to Use
Direct Piercing Type (SNB-1, TNB-1)
Attach the saddle for the drill to the pipe and pierce it with the drill.
Attach the gas blowout prevention cover (SNB-2, TNB-2) with the plug inserted to the saddle for the the drill.
Remove the drill from the drill saddle, screw in the plug, and then remove the saddle for the drill.
*Be careful not to damage the cover with the hole saw.
Removing: Attach the gas blowout prevention cover (TNB-1) with the pulp tee inserted to the pipe, remove the plug, and attach the valve tee by hand-tightening to the drilled part.
During gas bagging: SNB-1 can also be used when inserting the gas bag.
Removal: Remove the gas blowout prevention cover, tighten the valve tee completely, and it is done.
During gas bagging: When inserting the gas bag, complete by stopping the plug.
Saddle Clamp Type (SNB-2, TNB-2)
Attach the saddle or clamp to the pipe and make a hole using the drill.
Attach the gas blowout prevention cover (SNB-2TNB-2) with the plug inserted to the saddle or clamp.
Remove the drill and screw the plug into the threaded part of the hole.
Note: Insert and remove tools, materials, etc., from the pipe side. Be careful not to overtighten the band, so the bolts of the clamps do not bite into the no-flow cover.
Remove the gas blowout prevention cover and drill from the saddle or clamp. Take the drill out of the gas blowout prevention cover, insert the valve tee, and reattach it to the saddle or clamp.
Remove the plug and attach the valve tee to the threaded part of the hole by hand-tightening.
Remove the gas blowout prevention cover and tighten the valve tee completely to finish.
