Overview

The Gas Inner Pipe Repair Spray is designed to seal gas leaks by filling gaps, starting from the end of the pipe such as the gas valve area. The sealant penetrates and solidifies from the inner surface of the pipe towards the leaking screw area to facilitate repairs.

How it works

The sealant penetrates cracks at the leak site and hardens, effectively stopping the gas leak. This process is driven by the capillary phenomenon.

Not Applicable

The spray should not be used in the following scenarios:

  • Spraying from below onto vertically rising pipes.
  • Locations where a gas valve branches downward within the sealing range.
  • Situations where the sealant might accumulate inside the gas valve, including areas beyond the point of application.

How to Use

  • Inject the sealant within 2 seconds at one spot. (For pipes 10A or smaller, inject within 1 second).
  • In the case of a screw leak in the inner tube of a lamp, the anticipated leak location is within 2 meters from the pipe’s end (such as the gas valve part).
  • For gas meters, fuse gas valves, and other gas valves that cannot be lubricated after spraying, it’s essential to remove them before using the spray. Note: This procedure is not suitable for pipes with corrosion-related leaks.

  • Material: Acrylic-based sealant (45ml)
  • Spray gas: LPG/DME mixed gas (305ml)
  • Flammability: Highly flammable
  • Can internal pressure: approximately 4.8kg/cm^2 (Gauge can)
  • Hazard classification: Class 4, Category 3 Petroleum Products
  • Container: 60Φ x 210A (White Blank Can)
  • Net Content: 350ml (20 cans/case)
  • Gas type: City gas (6C・13A・6A)・ LP gas
  • Pipe location: Inner tube of the lamp, inpei part
  • Leakage type: Screw leak (deterioration, looseness)
  • Gauge drop amount: 0.20kPa or less/2 minutes
  • Pipe diameter: 32A or smaller
  • Seal range: 2 meters from the injection position of the gas valve, etc.
  • Pressure: Low pressure (10kPa or less)
  • Applicable locations: Leak sites at the base of the box gas valve, bottom of the kitchen hose gas valve, etc.
